...See more Content warning- trapped animal I tried to rescue a kitten. It did not work. I was out for a walk when I heard a kitten meowing in a storm drain. I called the fire department. They couldn't reach it. I stayed with it till it moved on to some other part of the sewer. I even tried stuffing my coat into the sewer so it could grab on, jangling my earbuds and my keys. Waited for it to come back, tried not to get hit by passing cars. Cat never came returned. I am feeling this very deeply. It was so little. I managed to get a picture of it. Cried all the way back home. Now I have a horrible migraine.

...See more Made the mistake of going off my medication for about two weeks, I think. I noticed myself slipping into a depressive state this week. I've started them again. I don't understand why I do this. It starts with missing one dose and then suddenly almost a month goes by. I feel so much better at first– clearer. I suppose it's because I've been off and on medication my whole life, it becomes exhausting and so I give in to it.

...See more Vent. It's getting increasingly difficult to tend to my responsibilities. I'm struggling to support myself, my dogs, my family– I can't even keep my room clean, can't consistently floss my teeth or wash my hair. I wake up heavy with dread. I'm exhausted and I don't even have a job, haven't had one in years. Yesterday I started showing symptoms of a mixed episode (bipolar) and the only thing that's done is decrease my appetite and give me a slight caffeinated feeling. I feel no motivation. The only thing I'm looking forward to is maybe dyeing my hair.
