Assalamualaikum(Hello) Everyone!

I am Smooth Operator. You can call me Smooth or Operator whatever you like! (Yes this name is inspired from Carlos Sainz and if you're going to Google him then just know that his Pinterest Pictures are better than the google ones!)

About Me: I am a 16 year old girl who is currently studying. I love to learn new things and I love to help people a lot. I joined 7 Cups to seek support as everyone has their own ups and downs but now I like to be a listener. I love cool stuff like stars, people, pillows, journalling and literature>

My hobbies include: Reading fiction that pulls me into other worlds, writing poems, stories and random thoughts, sketching dresses badly but with a lot of heart, watching Formula 1 and yelling at my screen, music on repeat for every mood, journaling the messy way where I just dump whatever’s in my head, daydreaming more than I actually live my day, and walking to clear my brain when it gets too loud!

My Listening Style: As someone who has been into psychology since I was 12, I feel like I can understand your situation better. I might not have gone through all of the hardships, but I understand them because I’ve read a lot about it, like A LOT. The one thing I can say with confidence is that I won’t judge you no matter what. As someone who has severe intrusive thoughts and acts on them too, I feel like I might have done a lot of stuff which made me non-judgmental.

If you're bored or just want to talk with someone I am here for you(and yes that's for listeners too). We can talk about psychology, cars, music, literature, art, astrology and anything(as I have a lot more interest too)

The only thing I expect from you is respect cuz I might be a very chill person but my self respect is very important for me. I just want everyone to be happy so Have a nice day everyone!

Don't Name the Days!
General Support / by SmoothOpertor55

...See more There are days. Some good, some bad. But who actually knows which day is good and which one is bad? How do you even differentiate a good day from a bad one? Days are just days. Mondays are usually the worst for a lot of people. On the other hand, they are the best for some. People who love their work will love Mondays, and people who don't will love Sundays. In the end, it's just US who make a day bad or good. Imagine you're having breakfast, you're already late for work, and your coffee slips and ruins your clothes. It feels like your whole day is ruined too. But do you really think some coffee is worth ruining your whole day? Maybe you'll even like that same shirt more because it smells like coffee. We don't have to find good in everything. Life would already be better if we just try our best not to find negativity in everything. ---

A Message to Strangers!
General Support / by SmoothOpertor55

...See more Everyday, we wakeup, we eat and we interact with a lot of people, people who we don't even know, people whom we never talk on a daily basis, people who are just strangers like an office guard, a school mate, a shopkeeper, a random uncle at the bus stop and even an online friend on platforms like 7 Cups. A single kind gesture and a normal phrase like "Have a nice day!" can make our day and we do get them often from strangers, strangers who we barely recognize. People who pull out the door for you, who wait so they can walk with you in a dark alley in order to comfort you, who give you random compliments are the people who make it worth living for you! As I come to think about it, all of us at some point thinks that we are useless, our life has no meaning and we shouln't exist but in someone else's story we might be that one stranger who made the day easier for them, who made life worth living for them, who gave them a tiny hope which brightens the day for them everyday. To all those who strangers who are reading this, I just want to say: "Thank You for Existing!" and even if you don't feel like it then still try living an another day just because you can!

Hobbies are Therapy

...See more There was a time when I didn’t understand what healing looked like. I thought it had to be something formal, something structured—something someone else would guide me through. But life has a quiet, almost playful way of teaching you things when you’re not even looking for lessons. For me, healing didn’t arrive with a grand entrance. It slipped in quietly—through the little things I did just to get by. I used to write whenever I felt like I was drowning in my own thoughts. Not because I was good at it, not because anyone would read it, but because it gave my emotions somewhere to land. Every word carried a piece of what I couldn’t say out loud. Messy, dramatic, unfiltered—but alive. When loneliness hit, I walked. Not just walked—I wandered like I was starring in my own invisible film. I built entire worlds in my head, created conversations that never happened, imagined versions of life that felt softer, kinder. Strange? Maybe. But those imaginary moments held me together when reality felt too quiet. And then there was music. I used to sing—not for applause, but for release. I poured pain into my voice like it was the only container that wouldn’t break. Sometimes it cracked. Sometimes it trembled. But it carried me through. Looking back now, I see it clearly: those weren’t random habits. They were my therapy. Because the truth is—the things we do, do things to us. Hobbies aren’t just “time-pass.” They are tiny revolutions. They shift something inside you. They give your chaos a rhythm, your silence a voice, your heaviness somewhere to go. They don’t fix everything—but they make everything feel a little more survivable, a little more human. You don’t need perfect timing. You don’t need talent. You just need something that lets you feel without explaining yourself. So don’t be a boring person. Be hobbyfull.

...See more Inspired by @Heather225 May Challenge. Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. I want to share what helped me when I was panicking and couldn't make sense of my emotions. The first thing that helped wasn't meditation. It was a simple grounding exercise: *name five things you can see.* It might sound silly, but it works. Within five seconds, your focus shifts from your feelings to your surroundings, and that pause can break the spiral. *Second, writing down my feelings.* Putting emotions on paper helps untangle them. Sometimes we can't tell if we're hurt, angry, or just overwhelmed. Writing gives that clarity. *Third, positive affirmations.* Our subconscious listens to what we tell ourselves. People who constantly hear negativity often start to believe and embody it. So speak kindly to yourself. It really can change the game. I hope this helps anyone who's struggling right now. You're not alone 💕😊💕.

LIVING THE LIFE
Positivity & Gratitude / by SmoothOpertor55

...See more All of us live through our life but a very few of us LIVE their life. Yes, they are two different things. All of us wakeup at our time and go to sleep at our time but we dont live our day we just spend it. Do we even enjoy what we are doing but we can enjoy that with just little act of kindness. You must have noticed how a single compliment, a little act of kindness, a warm smile can make people's day. Can make your own day. Seeing others happy makes your ownself happy so my dear just live the day. Seize it. Compliment others, make them smile, do whatever makes you happy.
