Messy breakup
Relationship Stress / by Tarlabasi

...See more Hi everyone! So, I broke up with my boyfriend of two years the other day. I think everything went ok, there weren't really any hard feelings. Of course we both were hurt. But the worst part came after... he started writing me long texts and just blaming hinself, me and just very messy stuff. He continued the next day. We both wanted to keep contact (you know, not completely erase each other) and he was especially very determined to not want to delete me from his life. But then he proceeded to delete me on instagram and facebook yesterday evening, which made me so sad. Of course I understand why he would want to do that, but when he especially said that he wouldn't and that I was the one leaving him completely alone. Even though I was still there for him after the break up and tried to talk. Things got ugly after that and even more messier. He wouldn't stop writing me and I just got really angry and I really tried to comfort him but that very much not possible when they've hurt you so many times. We both really didn't want it to end like this, but I really can't be kind if he decides to get ugly. I know I should have understood him better. But now after all these texts, and his whole reaction to the break up, I'm feeling very uncomfortable. I am glad I made the decision, because that is no acceptable reaction from a 21 year old man.. (in my opinion). Not saying he can't react in any way, but taking it out on me and victimizing himself -> not okay.

Small fights

...See more Hi ! So, I have a boyfriend of two years and lately we have been fighting pretty much. More than before. We're both feeling really clueless because we just don't know how to stop it! We're both sensitive, and small things easily become big. Although we're self-aware in a way that we know how things affect each other, and able to discuss how we feel, somehow these fights still break out. And the thing is, they're over text. So that just leaves so many things misunderstood because you can't really read emotions. I know the reasons to why we are constanty fighting, and it has a alot to do with this situation currently. We both live at home with problematic parents, and haven't been able to see each other as often as we usually do, and when we have it's always outside (no cafes etc. Have been oven until now) That has made it pretty hard to talk for real. Even though we have done a lot of fun things, some days you just forget all that and write hurtful things! Also this situation (corona) has really impacted mine and his mental health. So what I'm "asking for" is advice. What do we do? It's always the same thing all over again, sometimes we argue for a few hours and then afterward just feel so bad and apologise and all that and then it happens again. It's so frustrating and draining!
