How to clean SH wounds? TW: SH.
Self-Harm Recovery / by UssrTeacup

...See more Regrettably, i relapsed today. Last time I engaged in SH behavior I think i was 11 or 12. Im pretty sure after i was done I'd rub hand sanitizer all over my legs because 1) i was scared of getting them infection, and 2) i liked that it hurt.  Can anybody share how they treat their SH wounds? It doesn't necessarily have to be about cutting. When people start to self harm, nobody ever tells them how to treat it afterwards. Improper aftercare can leave it a bit smelly and itchy.

Undiagnosed 16f: women with adhd; have you sometimes been labeled as selfish?

...See more Hi. I am a 16 year old girl and I have ADHD. My mom, a psychologist, has said that I have ADHD; we've not gone to another doctor to get an official diagnosis because I do well in school, so she thinks I don't need medication. She's also told me i do have many autistic traits, but I am not autistic. I've been getting in trouble a lot at home lately. It's caused me to slump into a pretty heavy depression, but that's probably for another forum. When I get in trouble, it is always because I am selfish, inattentive, careless, and inconsiderate. It's never my intention to be these this, and my friends to not consider me to be this, but they're biased. I've accepted that im generally a bad daughter, and every time I have a streak of good I get in trouble again because of this behavior. part of the behavior is my forgetfulness and impulsivity, which always hurts and inconveniences those around me. I've sometimes seen online that specifically, women with ADHD, are often labeled as these things, especially when they are younger. I don't want to dismiss my parents and say that I am not all of these things, but if this is true i at least want something that could explain why i am seemingly allergic to being a good daughter. Maybe it will encourage me to get diagnosed once i get out of here and turn 18. Can any diagnosed women say if this is true for them, or am i a victim of mental health ***?
