Feeling like I missed my chance

...See more I’m 35 now and I feel like I threw my life away doing nothing. I feel like I missed my chance to change this. I don’t know what to do now and I can’t get myself to want anything. I’m incredibly depressed. I have no money, no career, and no relationship.

...See more I am turning 35 in a week and I feel like every aspect of my life is a failure. I am broke and I can’t forsee myself ever being able to afford a car or a house. My parents are older and starting to become senile. I don’t recognize them and I feel like I missed the chance to be friends with them. If I do get married or buy a house I can’t ask them for advice anymore. I’m single and I have herpes. I’ve been on a lot of adventures that I felt like were the point of life at the time but now I wonder… for what? The thought of another adventure doesn’t compel me like it used to. I feel like I just can’t get it together and everyone else seems to be able to.
