...See more I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, and one thing I really struggle with is sudden energy crashes. I can be fine one moment, then completely drained the next – not normal tiredness, more like my brain just shuts down. Simple tasks feel overwhelming and pushing through usually makes it worse. I’m still trying to understand what actually helps with this and whether other women experience it in a similar way. Would love to hear different perspectives or experiences. -------------------------

...See more For a long time, I thought my anxiety was just part of my personality. I functioned, worked, showed up — but inside, my mind was always on edge. Even on “good” days, there was this background tension I couldn’t switch off. It wasn’t panic, just a constant feeling of bracing myself for something. What surprised me most was how much energy anxiety quietly takes. By the end of the day, I wasn’t lazy or unmotivated — I was mentally drained from being alert all the time. Learning to notice that has helped me be a little kinder to myself, even when I don’t have all the answers yet. -------------------------
