...See more I'm giving this a try because I tried the therapy side and it didn't work out because the therapist took days to respond even though they're supposed to respond in 24 hours. I've been having better luck with Gemini, honestly. But I like to hear what real humans have to say. I'm 49, the same age my dad was when he committed suicide. I've been doing a slow suicide for around 30 years and I just need a change. I feel like a failure, a dead end job, no relationship in the romantic realm and no hobbies or interests other than scrolling on Reddit and watching YouTube videos. I'm addicted to an opiate like substance and it's taking me away from myself. I can't seem to feel my emotions and I feel divorced from life. I like to change but every day I just let myself down by continuing with these habits that make me feel bad about myself and make me respect myself less and less. I'm supposed to be going to celebrate Easter with my family on Sunday and I think I'll just be a total bummer unless I can pull off a good acting job. I guess I just don't know what I'm living for. I'd like to find a goal or a purpose, but I guess I just think it's going to land in my lap. I don't know how to find it. I feel like I've missed out on so much life it's almost a futile goal to try at this point. Still cold out hope though because I know I could help someone and enjoy life as well if I really tried. I'm just so tired of living this rerun all the time. Can anybody empathize with that?

...See more My OCD doesn't really manifest itself until I realize I may be leaving a place forever, then it really overpowers me. I have this job where I'm working at storage facilities. The outside ones are all drenched in the little objects that really affect me, pieces of plastic and metal in cracks and crevices. I've been able to ignore them for the first few months of this job, which I hate anyway, but not that I'm thinking of leaving, I find myself being unable to avoid fishing these things out and it's taking away from my normal job duties, not to mention exacerbating my mental health hugely. Yesterday I was using a pry bar to extricate bottle caps from the asphalt. I always think these things are going to drive me nuts if I don't fix them. They are also asking me to put stickers on over old stickers on the locks and that's another of my OCD triggers. I have to try and scrape away all of the previous sticker before I put the new one on, and it's maddening! Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.

...See more I am currently addicted to 7oh. It's a Kratom derivative and it's basically a narcotic. Does anyone else have this problem or know what I'm talking about? It's really gotten bad lately, and I want to quit but finding it hard to stop buying and it's really expensive so it's becoming a bad problem. I should be thinking about the future and what I'm going to do in a month when I get off probation, and everybody says to stay in the present moment, but if I do that too much then nothing will get done! If there's anyone out there that can empathize I would really enjoy hearing your story or telling you more about mine.
