What Do I Do?
Friendship Support / by ashleyzap08

...See more So here’s some vague background knowledge to the issue. This couple I went to high school with broke up for a bit because the girl found out that her boyfriend had cheated on her at the party that she organized for him through the phone that she bought him. The most pressing part is that he (19M) cheated on her with a minor (15F). The issue is that my best friend (who I was telling about all of this) dates one of my old friends from highschool who basically share a very close tight knit friend group with this guy. My bff’s boyfriend asked her if it was alright for their friend group to essentially have a conversation with him and cut ties off with him considering what he did was very disgusting. Initially I thought it was a bad idea because the information was fed through a line of the guys best friends on campus to one of their girlfriends who is a great friend of mine who then told me and so forth. I was against it because we could potentially lose the string of information to be able to build a report to the police. As I have been thinking, I have been second guessing my decision. However, if they cut off ties with him then he’ll wonder who told them as he had initially only told one person that then went down the line. My question is what do I do here?

How to keep agender dysphoria down?

...See more A little while ago, I started identifying as agender bc I really didn’t feel like a woman, nor a man, essentially anything. I just wanted to exist for myself but I’m really okay with any pronouns. The problem hits me now that bc of my body size, I’ve been dressing very feminine (which isn’t bad at all, I like dressing that way) but I want to more masculine or gender neutral. I’ve been nitpicking at my voice since it’s quite high pitched and just overall not happy with the way I look. Any advice on how to keep this down?

Did I do the right thing?

...See more For backstory, this pertains to a couple who are both my friends, one more than the other. My current best friend and roommate, H is dating a friend, O, that I went to school with ever since we were little. They've dated on and off for 3 years in highschool and now that we are in college, their relationship had been rocky and their arguments have increased. When H and O decided to date again, they told each other everything they did when they weren't a couple if it included the other person. For example my friend H dated another guy (forced by her family) and told O everything they did and didn't do together and every detail. Allegedly O had told her everything but in their recent arguments he blabbed too much and accidentally spilled stuff that he did that he kept from her. She let this slide twice so far. The reason I dislike O was because the second time he called her an option but was on his knees begging her not to leave him. Recently a friend, A, that I broke away from because of O back in high school asked to meet. She wanted to talk about her side of the story because O had essentially caused everyone to turn on her. She provided evidence and I apologized for not believing her. A told me about everything that O said about H (hard to explain but O and A were really close friends for a while until he told everyone to turn on her). The stuff I learned that O said about H made me sick to my stomach but I didn't want to ruin H and Os relationship because they were really happy together. A and I kept our mouths shut for a while but we broke the silence this morning. We both agreed that she needed to know exactly what was said of her, even if it was the grossest stuff. H was really upset about everything and told O to meet with her (both go to different universities), we were asked to go with her formoral support so we did. O confessed to almost everything and told her "to keep you, I'll apologize to A. I'll do anything you want" As of right now, H broke up with him but she considers him her first love and is thinking of taking him back. She loves him so much that she thought about a future with him (he had told A that he saw no future with her). Did I do the right thing by telling her this information? Was it my place to say it? I feel like I caused this, my best friend hasn't even eaten since she found out. I feel terrible and am second-guessing my decision.

...See more Throughout my entire life I’ve gone by she/her girl. My family, friends, teachers, everyone has known me to be a she/her girl. However, for a while I’ve been thinking about how I wouldn’t mind being called other pronouns. I wouldn’t mind if someone called me he/she/they etc. However I don’t know if this has anything to do with my gender? I’ve lived my whole life as a girl but I wouldn’t mind if someone used a different pronoun. Furthermore, I’ve been a closeted pansexual all throughout highschool. I don’t know if it’s worth it to tell people I’ve known for a long time that I don’t mind the pronoun or to just save it for when I introduce myself to new people in college Any help please? Really struggling to figure it out :/
