...See more To make a long story short, I got in a secret relationship with my best guy friend who was already in a serious relationship. This lasted 7 months, I broke it off 2 weeks ago because I honestly couldn't handle the guilt anymore. I feel so shitty. His girlfriend is so sweet and doesn't deserve this. No one deserves to be in a situation like this honestly. I blocked him on all socials even though we were close friends before this all went down; I literally just couldn't handle feeling like that anymore. I'm not trying to make myself out to be the victim because obviously I'm the crappy person in this situation but what do I do? Is there anything I can do to make up for my mistake? I literally never want to be in a situation like that ever again.

...See more So to make a long story short, my best guy friend who is 20 years old is married. Although we had a thing in the past (before he even met his wife) we were genuinely just platonic friends for over a year. This year things between us changed for some reason. I didn't see this coming but we both essentially caught feelings for one another. HE IS MARRIED. I've essentially been in this emotional type affair with him for 3 months. It moved beyond emotional and got slightly physical. There's not a day that went by during those 3 months where I didn't feel guilty. Anyways I ended it. We're trying to find ways to be strictly friends now (by doing things like only hanging out in group settings, etc) But my question is, how do I move on from someone I can't have? It hurts, I always miss him and I always want to see him but I'm trying really hard to not let myself fall down that path again. I've never cared for someone this much.

...See more So, Im 19 and am currently in a kind of relationship with my 20 year old best friend who is MARRIED. Let me start from the beginning. We met in junior year of high school and we caught feelings for each other, this lasted only around 3 months though before we both moved on and kind of drifted apart. Fast forward, middle of senior year he gets a girlfriend and they become serious. At this point me and him barley even talked. Then for some reason, freshmen yr of college we started becoming very close again. He started calling me his closest/best friend and we would FaceTime at least once a week - we never really saw each other since his gf wasnt comfortable with us hanging out/ she didnt know me. They ended up actually getting married & still nothing really changed between us. This year though (sophomore yr), idk what changed but one day he called me and was like lets hang out tonight. Since that night, things started changing. I noticed he was very touchy with me, we shared lingering hugs, he started saying I love you. Things like that. Before I knew it hes confessing his feelings to me and Im confessing mine. BUT HES MARRIED and the guilt is eating me up. Ive gotten close to his wife this past month and that just makes me feel worse. We havent done anything really physical but he says very suggestive things & it seems to me that this is an emotional affair. How do I get out of this situation & is it possible to save our friendship?
