...See more So my husband has a female friend who has been his friend for years. Lately though things have felt different, I saw a message he had sent her where he was using language like "babe" and "gorgeous xxx" and I was not ok with it. He had previously had an emotional affair with an ex a few years back and that was the language he used with her. He does not talk like that to me. So I confronted him and told him I was bit uncomfortable with him talking to her like a girlfriend. I never said I didn't want him to talk to her at all but that I was uncomfortable and I know her husband would be too with the way they talk. Well he made it clear that he would see me leave the family home before being told how to talk to "his closest friend". So that's where I'm at, considering leaving. We have 2 children as well so it's really killing me that he does not care how I feel about it all. I don't sleep or eat much these days and I have lost trust in him. He now just turns his notifications off on his phone and changed his password. First time in 9 years he has had an issue with me using his phone. He uses mine whenever also.
