Relationship problems I'm having and need advice

...See more Me and my girlfriend have been together for around 2 years and we’ve been really close and in contact every day for most of that time. Recently we had an argument where I lost my temper and said things I really regret, and when she tried to talk to me about how she felt I shut it down and acted like I didn’t care because I was angry and hurt at the time. Since then communication between us has broken down and things have felt really uncertain. At the moment we’re not really speaking properly, and I’ve been left unsure where I stand. I’ve found myself overthinking a lot and looking too much into small things like changes on social media, what she’s posting, and general activity. She’s changed her *** bio, started using *** and other apps again, and reposted things that make it feel like she’s moving forward in her own way, which has been hard for me to process. She also still has some things like *** location and certain connections still on, so it’s all felt very mixed and confusing for me. I’ve also realised by looking back at our chats that I didn’t handle things well and I was quite cold and dismissive when she was trying to talk to me, and I think that played a part in how things got to this point. I regret that a lot and I wish I handled it differently. Right now I’m waiting to see if she replies to a message my mate sent her, but I’m struggling with the uncertainty and not knowing what she’s thinking or feeling. I still care about her a lot and I don’t want anyone else, but I just don’t know what direction things are going in anymore. I've woken up this morning and I haven't even gotten a snap from her Is that bad? I've read through mine and my girlfriends chats and I realise now how horrible I was at the time and when she tried talking to me about it I acted like I didn't care because I was angry and hurt and that's what pushed the situation into this and honestly now I'm worried she won't want to come back to me and I know you'll say something like I can find someone else but I don't want anyone else I want her and I know everyone says that but it's really true I don't want anyone else she's the only person I can see myself with and the woman I planned on marrying She's got tik tok again (it made me uncomfortable before) and downloaded Inst agram when she told me she never wanted it She's changed her tik tok bio from what it used to be too from "all I care about is cars, F1 and my boyfriend" to "🏎️🏎️" She hasn't unadded me or blocked me on anything She still has her location on for me too And the same matching outfit on and on it still says engaged on her Face book She also reposted a video saying "when you're the funny one in the relationship" I tried calling her last night and she didn't answer either

...See more Me and my girlfriend have been together for around 2 years and we’ve spoken every day during that time. Recently we had an argument where I lost my temper and shouted things I really regret. I want to be honest about what happened because I know I was in the wrong for how I handled it. The situation had been building up for a while because I felt a bit disrespected and not valued. She had been falling asleep on me quite a few times when we were talking, and it kept happening. After a long day recently it happened again, and I let my frustration build up and I snapped. In that moment I said things like I was “sick of it” and called her “full of it” (I originally used swear words, but I don’t want to repeat them), and I also said she doesn’t really do anything to be that tired. When she tried to talk to me after, I shut it down because I was angry and didn’t handle it properly. I now realise I was wrong for how I spoke to her and how I reacted. Afterwards, she said things like: “I don’t want this, I don’t want to make this decision, I don’t know what to do” “I don’t like this” “I don’t know what to do, I can’t just live with this knowing what I said to me” “It’s unacceptable and I don’t know what to do about it” “I shouldn’t have been spoken to like that” “I don’t know if I can go back from that” She didn’t directly say it’s over, but she sounds really hurt and unsure. I apologised properly afterwards and took responsibility for how I spoke to her. I told her I understand I shouldn’t have shouted or said what I said, that I should have communicated better instead of reacting emotionally, and that I’m genuinely sorry. I also sent her a message saying I understand if she needs space, that I respect that, and that I still care about her. I said I’m willing to talk when she is ready and try to fix things properly if possible. The message I sent was: "Hey I’ve been thinking about everything and I understand more now how hurt you’ve been and why you felt that way I realise I didn’t always stop and properly listen the way you needed in those moments I was more focused on explaining myself instead of understanding you first and I’m really sorry for that I never wanted to make you feel that way and I’m really sorry for hurting you I also understand more now that we can experience the same situation in completely different ways and I should’ve taken more time to properly listen and understand how it felt for you instead of focusing on my own perspective in the moment I care about you a lot and I do want to make this work because I don’t want to lose you and I know I need to show that through my actions not just words and I’m sorry it took me getting close to losing you to realise I needed to do better but I really am prepared to do anything to make this work because I really do love you ❤️" Since then, she hasn’t really responded. We’ve gone from talking every day for 2 years to almost nothing suddenly. She hasn’t blocked me, but she’s been very quiet and not opening messages consistently. I’ve been overthinking a lot and checking if she is online, which I know isn’t healthy. I’ve also spoken to my nan and some people online because I’ve been struggling with it emotionally and trying to handle it better instead of making it worse. My nan thinks she’s likely just really upset rather than it being fully over, and said that if it was completely done it probably would have been said already, especially after the call. She also said sometimes people just need time and space and that she might even show up in person or message again, and that I should wait and see what happens, especially over the next few days like my birthday. Right now I feel stuck between giving her space because she’s clearly hurt, and feeling like I’m losing her by doing nothing. From my perspective, and based on what others around me have said, it doesn’t feel like a definite breakup. It feels more like she’s overwhelmed, hurt, and unsure. But the silence is making me panic and overthink everything, especially because we’ve gone from constant contact for 2 years to suddenly nothing. I’ve also been told that if she really wanted to fully end it, she may have already said it or blocked me, but at the same time I know that doesn’t guarantee anything and I’m trying not to rely on that too much. I still care about her a lot and I don’t want to lose her, but I also don’t want to make things worse by pushing her when she needs space. I just want honest outside opinions on: does this sound fixable? or does it sound like it’s already basically over? and what should I actually do right now? (other than this we’ve had an amazing relationship, we’ve had arguments before but always worked them out, and right now I’m actively working on improving my communication and how I handle my emotions and reactions.)
