...See more Every interview I've ever had, I've had an unstoppable anxiety spiral after. I've gotten offers but always feel like it's in spite of my interview skills rather than because of them. I overanalyze how much I rambled, how unprepared I was, what their facial expressions were... anyways, I'm doing this now for an interview I didn't really even care about. I wish that I had prepared better but... why? I already have offers for grad programs that I would probably prefer. It just becomes a self esteem issue at this point. Not sure what I'm trying to achieve with this post other than seeing if anyone else feels the same.

...See more I was very joyous earlier today because I received acceptance to a master's program - my second one. My mom ruined it by acting sad and troubled about the money. I'm getting a very generous funding package and my parents would have no problem providing the rest... not to mention the option of loans. How miserable do you have to be to make your son feel bad about getting accepted into top programs? I hate her so much. This is why I can't be happy at home and I can't wait to move. She just sees me as a financial burden and cares nothing about my happiness.
