Feeling stagnant in our marriage
Relationship Stress / by forcefulTiger2658

...See more My husband and I have been married 8 years and have a 2 year old. We've been having some intimacy issues on and off since being married. It got a little better before I had our daughter, and directly after, though we werent having sex often, we were very emotionally connected (he helped me through PPD and was amazing). now, we have a toddler and have absolutely no time to connect. She shares our room right now so no time for intimacy. I just watched the show off campus and this sounds so silly because I know its fictional, but seeing the relationships on there and in the romance novels i read makes me want for more. I keep telling myself theres a difference between real life romance and fictional romance, but I still wish for more romance in my relationship.

...See more Ive been struggling the past week or so with my depression. Could be attributed to several things-started a new weight loss med, I was on vacation from work last week, the weather changes- but id been feeling so guilty about being sad because I have the best daughter in the would and shouldn't have a reason to be sad. And then last night, my daughter was playing with my hair and said "mommy's hair beautiful" and it just made everything better ❤️

Depression as a mom

...See more Ive recently started feeling really down lately. I cant quite pinpoint why. I did recently start some weight loss meds, so that might be contributing to it. But im struggling to work through my depression as a parent. I feel guilty for even feeling this way when I have no reason to, and feel guilty that I have such low energy. I dont want to be a bad mom because im depressed. My daughter is 2 and so active, but im emotionally exhausted. Are there any toddler moms struggling with depression? How do you cope?
