Husband wants Ethical non monogamy
Relationship Stress / by imaginefuture18

...See more I’m so confused and feel very alone. I can’t share with any family or friends because I’m so ashamed. I’ve been in and out of hospital for self harm thoughts recently because I’m so down. My husband f 18 years, been together 22 since high school and have 3 children has just announced he orientates as someone who can love and maintain multiple women. He asked for permission to explore this as he wants to share our love with someone else. I’m devastated. I am completely monogamous and do not feel comfortable sharing my husband. He is Christian and I don’t believe this is something god would say is acceptable either. He says he wants to stay married and agreed to couples therapy but is now not wanting to attend until my mental health is better. I have told him to leave me because I do not agree with what he is asking and he says no but the trust is gone. What do I do?? Do I leave? Every time his phone goes off I panic inside. Every female I look at I compare myself with. I don’t feel safe emotionally. I’m working very hard on my own mental state but my heart is breaking every day. Every little comment he makes how I analyse. I can’t help it and it’s driving me crazy. I need help.
