...See more When my ex boyfriend left me, it took me long time before I picked myself up again, I cried for months on end. Now, one year later, he wanted to come back. I rejected him, yet he does not respect my decision and keeps on making comments about our previous relationship. I see that I should let go so both of us can go seperate ways. Why does it make me so stressed to do so? I'm afraid I might hurt him, but then I see that he also left me before. It's a complicated feeling. I feel lost.

He left because he did not love me enough anymore, but now, after a year of being gone, he wants to come back to me. I rejected him, but I see I should cut our contact also, since he does not really respect my rejection. Why do I feel so stressed to let him go completely, even though he left me before?
