...See more My dad has had chronic kidney disease since 2011. He has reached the 4th stage, and he is just one step away from dialysis. He has always told us he never wants to go through dialysis, and we as a family have always agreed that we will respect his choice. In just one week, he will receive his new lab results which will tell if he has reached the final stage. I feel very scared, and I know I’ve had 10 years to get ready, but I know I’ll never be ready to lose my dad. I feel so small and scared and I really don’t know what to do.
