My parents are cousins and it’s affecting my mental health
Self-Esteem / by mochaccino

...See more I always knew that my parents were first cousins but I never thought about it too much back then since I was a child (I’m also aroace so I never rlly understood the difference between platonic and romantic but anyway) but looking at it now, I genuinely wish I would’ve been born from a different family. I don’t care if my life would be different, I just wish I had normal parents. I don’t feel worthy of doing or achieving anything anymore and don’t see any point in continuing to live either since I’m inbred. And their relationship isn’t only incest, but it’s also p3dophilic too since they’re SIX years apart and have known each-other since childhood (despite mentioning that they haven’t interacted much, it’s still just beyond gross). And I no longer blame the other parents who stopped wanting to be friends with my parents for “unknown reasons”. I don’t know what to do anymore, I don’t know how to separate my self-worth from the way I was created. I hate this

...See more Does anyone else’s OCD constantly try to convince them of bad things being okay and constantly distorts their perception on things? It’s debiliating to have to try and constantly prove it wrong

...See more Does anyone else have slurs that they can’t reclaim repeating in their head as intrusive thoughts? I don’t have those as often anymore but during my one of my previous moral OCD episodes,, I kept over-researching the history of the slur to prove my thoughts wrong but that only got me more obsessed with them to the point of believing that I was actually a bigot which led to SH. I also kept speaking/whispering gibberish because it felt like the slur was gonna come out of my mouth at any second and at any point. Anyway theres more to this has anyone else experienced anything similar to this?
