what do you think about therapist idea?

...See more hi, my boyfriend since 3 years had another relationship, we had some issues and i think thats why he was driven to see this girl. he didnt do it in my back, but he made me understand he wanted to spend some times with her, and i kind of let it happen. but it makes me really unhappy, we broke up a while, he didnt see this girl after that as she was leaving the country, and we are back together because i love him too much. but i feel insecure. so i went to see a therapist to help me to go through that. and she ask me if i ever cheated on him or flirt with someone else in front of him? that could help him to realise how i feel if i was doing that. that men need to be jealous a bit. what do you think about it? i have my own opinion but im interested in yours! and its a professionnal therapist who gave me this advice.
