My screen time is quite embarrassing, but I live alone, don’t have many friends whom I can meet, not much into any hobbies, but I don’t want to rot in my bed scrolling away for hours, yet when I get off I always feel so bored and unmotivated to do something productive even though I have more than enough things to do for school and such. I’ve tried staying outside more since I live in an apartment, but since I’m always alone I just think of all the things I have to do, depressing I know. I’ve been seeing old videos from the 80s and 90s and how technology has made everything feel slower and fake and less human, I’ve feel like most of us have lost that. Have a nice day :))))

...See more This is quite embarassing to admit, but im soon to be 23 and ive never had a job. Parents didnt pressure me while I was at school, during my gap year i practically stayed on the couch and now, my third year in university and nothing. Im generally a very introverted person so I was always too scared to apply in case I mess up in the future, and im not outgoing to actually think of anyjob myselfs like little businesses. But now, when I am ready to work, and Would honestly enjoy it, anything that would make me money, even a boring and dull 9-5. I want a job so I can feel secure and know what i will be doing the next day. But now as a 23 yeard old its just embarassing, how do I apply with and Empty CV, and I do not know people or connections who would help me get one. On top of all of this, I have very emotionally unavailable parents who only know how to lash out, if I ever come to them with my probelsm they just blame me for it. (Theyre not wrong, I should have forced myself to change my lazy lifestyle but I cant turn back time and genuinely dont know what to do). I regsitered on this website 30 minutes ago and have already said more about my life and my true feelings and mental health than to anyone in my life

Ive always been alright with being alone but now that im in my early 20s I can't stand it, worse things is ive never actually had a genuine friend whom i met just on occurance, only friendships from school and convenience. I know people but If I do not engage in conversation first it might as well go nowhere. What do I do, I know im not the most interesting person and am quite/very introverted but I dont think I can live like this anymore, especailly in a country in which people are not likely to come up to someone. Anxiety. Please someone tell me im not the only one here and its a universal problem
