...See more Hi guys, I just wanted to post about some of the stuff i struggle with, maybe you have similar struggles and would like to share ways you deal with it and keep yourself in a good headspace. --- I have a really hard time dealing with day to day life - it puts me in a consistently flat and gray mood. I am always in a better mood when there is nothing to do and on the weekends, maybe I struggle through the weeks due to a lack of routine. My anxiety is always focused around my relationship, my relationship is a direct receiver of my melancholy, this in turn creates instability and makes me so anxious that my partner will leave me and that I am not good enough which fuels a never ending cycle of torment. Im always so caught in irrational thought which leads to me not being able to focus on anything that I need to get done, struggling with every day life tasks. Sometimes my moods are so perceptible to people around me that I seem to suck all of the energy out of the room - creating an inhospitable and unwelcoming environment, a projection of my headspace. I struggle with commitments, I have committed to so many things and then when it comes to the crunch I always bury my head in the sand and believe that everything will be okay - until it isnt and I have a mental breakdown. Its like a mental block that stops me from achieving the things I set out to do. --- If you can contribute any way that would be amazing, Regards, Pete

...See more hi everyone, i stumbled upon this website while I was helplessly trying to google my way to fix how i am feeling. I havent been the happiest person in a long time, the closest person in my life (my beautiful partner) has known this and brought it up with me on many occasion but I tended to bury my head in the sand and not accept what she was saying to be reality. In the last few weeks I think Ive had some what of a breakdown and really hit some form of rock bottom. I now understand that I need some help to get past this, its at the point where it is controlling my life, effecting my work and ruining my relationship with my partner. ‭My head is always a chaotic mess, I get so anxious and stressed out over things that are really just normal everyday requirements. Ive also this past week been extremely sad and have moments of uncontrollable crying. I always thought I just had anxiety and it would be okay, that I could just ignore it and it would get better. But now that its coupled with this extreme sadness Im feeling very lost. I am booking an appointment with a psychologist today, something that I should have done a long time ago but never did. Better late than never right? Im a 23 year old with my life ahead of me and it wont be well spent living it how I currently am, considering how bad Ive gotten, I dont want to get any worse. i often feel so guilty because of the stress I put on my partner, she doesnt understand how much pain I am in and that is causing her so much pain as well. thanks for listening.
