Bio

I’m someone who truly values the power of presence.
I’m here because I’ve discovered how healing it is to have someone who simply holds space,  a place where others can express themselves freely and be exactly who they are.

Humility, the soil from which our best human qualities grow.

...See more This is the story of how one word changed my perspective. At a time when I was facing intense challenges in my life, my therapist sent me a text with supportive quotes and guidelines to help me navigate the situation. I do not remember any of it anymore except for one word: Humanness. I read everything in a hurry and stopped, mesmerised by the word Humanness. I did not know what it meant, but I gave it my own meaning and purpose. In that moment, I felt that humanness is the definition of all the characteristics that make us different and one of a kind, even in the broader sense of cultures. It felt like a label, but one that helped me look at the world more openly and without limitations. When was the last time that you noticed something unique in someone that softened your perception of them? How did it make you feel? For me, humanness means acknowledging every detail about the people I meet as a mark of how beautifully diverse we all are. If someone speaks in a funny way or has their own unique accent, that is humanness. If someone does something in their own distinctive way, that is humanness. If someone performs a ritual related to their culture or beliefs, that is humanness. If someone does something very differently from what I would expect, that is humanness. I choose to replace judgement with acceptance through the lens of humanness. It is a way for me to learn, to discover, and to develop my best human qualities. What is one aspect of yourself that you sometimes judge but could gently reframe as part of your own humanness? The relationship between humanness and humility is very deep, suggesting that being truly human involves embracing limitation, groundedness, and connection. Accepting that we are fallible, imperfect, and interdependent brings me ease and helps me see my purpose. Recognising that no individual is inherently more valuable than another makes me feel part of a whole, part of a shared participation guided by intention.

Complexity Awareness

...See more Discovering the name and the whole concept of this cognitive skill was for me the beginning of a beautiful liberating journey.  I have been dwelling on it, as long as I can remember, asking and reflecting on more  possibilities than black and white to any given situation. The perspective of black and white has been one of the major sources of frustration in my life. The lack of nuance that I have so many times came upon, was hard to bear without knowing how to name what I was facing. Looking back over the past years, I realise I evaluated and defined it as all shades of grey between white and black. That was, at the time, my best explanation of my point of view in a situation. Some months ago I came upon the actual name: complexity awareness and it felt liberating because, most of all, I could read about it, refine it in myself,  and find a source of external resonance for something I felt inside of me for so long.  The realisation of the following added to this sense of liberation:  * Romanticising greatness as something clean is pretty limiting. Great thinkers, artists and builders of worlds rarely have linear lives and we have a lot to learn from that. There are many trials and errors in achieving and living my purpose and my dream life. My purpose and my dream life are not something written in stone, but more a long blank page sketched in pencil, where I can and will make smaller adjustments here and there and even bigger, drastic and dramatic ones if needed.  * Trying to solve complexity as solution. I have tried this very hard, asking life to make sense on my own terms. What brought me relief was allowing life to be meaningful without being fully explainable. Seeing more, being aware of complexity does not make life easier, it makes it more real, and this is something I was longing for.  * I do not have to collapse into a clear narrative to be whole. Beauty, life itself, does not wait for the ideals conditions. It appears and asks to be lived anyways. I choose the act of making something beautiful even when the world is not.  Is growth about resolving contradictions, or learning to live with them?
