You are so right, there is a peace and glow just by allowing ourselves to be how we feel we need to be, how we feel we want to be. Today I read this wonderful saying by John Kabat-Zinn that said ''Practice sharing the fullness of your being, your best self, your enthusiasm, your vitality, your spirit, your openness, above all, your presence. Share it with yourself, with your family, with the world'' and I felt it deeply.

I’m still learning how to live with that kind of mindset every day. Some days it feels natural, and other days it’s honestly really hard. But I’m trying one small step at a time, even when it feels slow. I guess that’s part of the practice too, right xD 😁? 😊💗

I appreciated the words, I'm very open despite some issues with feeling rejected at times.
The George Miishael GIF brought back memories on taking my ex wife to see Wham in concert many years ago, Wendy loved it but I wasn't a fan, endured it to put it mildly ð¤ªð¤ª
@RunningMachine I can now understand why this GIF had such an disruptive impact on you while being here on this thread. I appreciate how open you are, and how clear you are about your triggers. I have been also paying more attention lately to the triggers that come from past experiences. It doesn't yet change how I feel when faced with my triggers, but I feel I am bringing a bit of light on the situation and when ready I will take the next step.

I've struggled with loneliness and value deeper connections with people and I've got a habit of using cheeky comments and asides to help raise a smile, most of the time it seems to help but can occasionally cause upset or offence qhichnis never my intention.
