Morbid thoughts

...See more Do you ever find yourself attracted to melancholy or depressing things, or even developing an unhealthy obsession with the morbid? When I start to get ill all I can think about are sad things; I even make up tragic scenarios in my head. Sometimes I wonder if I make myself worse by holding onto my low moods. It scares me, but it's not something I can really control. Am I alone?

I can't explain it to other people

...See more When I start to have a low episode everything quickly becomes painful and confusing. It hurts and I can't explain how I am feeling to other people. There is an overwhelming feeling inside. I can only liken it grief or loss, as if the most important person to you in the world vanished, but you can't quite remember them. Also it feels as if someone else is inside of me. Another part of me maybe, just dissociation when I'm pain? I dunno. I'm just frustrated because I can't explain to anyone how I feel. Even my partner who I am very close too.  Does anyone know what on earth I'm talking about? How can I feel like any of this is real?

...See more Over the last few months I have been really ill and trying to cope with a crisis. I had been completely inactive and spent most days hiding in my room. Today I finally worked up the courage to start jogging again. It was really hard but I'm glad that I managed to get out even for a little bit. Hopefully things are looking up.
