...See more Please Don’t Ignore Your Symptoms – My Story For years, I was told by anxiety programs, therapists and coaches that “it’s just adrenaline,” “a false alarm,” and “nothing is really happening.” I believed them because I wanted to trust the process, so I dismissed every chest pain, flutter, and dizzy spell as anxiety. But recently, I had two abnormal ECGs and have now been referred to a cardiologist who has seen me and arranged for more tests, also has put me on cardiac medication. I still don’t know the full picture yet, but I’ve learned an important lesson: anxiety and physical health problems can look very similar — and sometimes they overlap. I’m not sharing this to scare anyone but to remind you: * If something feels wrong, get it checked out. * Anxiety may amplify symptoms, but it doesn’t mean your body is lying to you. * Seeking medical reassurance is not weakness — it’s wisdom. I wish someone had told me this sooner. Please listen to your body, even if you think it’s “just anxiety.”

...See more I’ve been living with anxiety and panic for over 20 years. It’s not just panic attacks — it’s constant symptoms, even at home, to the point where I often stay in my bedroom. I’ve tried Thrive, CBT, counselling, hypnotherapy… but I still feel stuck because the anxiety feels so automatic and overwhelming. It’s incredibly isolating, and sometimes I wonder if there’s more to life than this. I’m trying to start small and learn to stay with panic instead of running from it, but it’s hard when every step feels like a mountain. If anyone else has been through long-term anxiety or agoraphobia, I’d love to hear how you began turning things around

...See more How many of you struggle with this? From leaving home to being home alone I’m in a low place. My kids all return to school term and I’ve not been alone at home for almost 9 weeks. Tomorrow I will be alone 8am-3.30pm. I’ve spent my last few days crying, not eating or sleeping well due to anxiety. How do you all spend your days when feeling like this? I have no friends to call or chat with whilst alone. I go to sleep feeling anxious and the same sensations waken me, I have literally done every therapy, course, counselling and nothing has benefited me. I feel so stuck this can’t be my life forever!!!
