Need to talk to someone?

Hi I’m Jase if you’d like to chat please message me and I’ll get back to you asap even if I’m offline I check my messages regularly. I live on the south coast of England, with my son, I was diagnosed with ASD (autism) when I was 40, also have OCD and recently been diagnosed with ADHD, I have experienced Sleep paralysis throughout my life. I’ve completed a mental health awareness qualification, and have also taken neurodevelopmental disorder qualifications, as well as a counselling one also. I have struggled with anxiety all my life but am now in a position, where I feel I’m ready to help others, who are struggling with similar issues. I consider myself to be a kind and decent person, and I just want to help other people, who just may need someone to talk with.  I’m often told that I’m a good listener, which is what has bought me to 7cups, as I feel I have something to give which may help others. I don’t have lived experience with eating disorders or Schizophrenia but I’m happy to listen to anyone that struggles with these issues, and I’ll always do my best to be there for someone that needs a listener.

I have gone through some difficult times in the past which are behind me now. During my struggles I found that communicating with someone that cares is a precious gift so I hope to provide the same for someone else. I have personal experience with emotional abuse, depression, social anxiety, complex PTSD as well as having a family member with Borderline Personality Disorder. I also dealt with a person very close to me who took their own life.
