Can we be okay

How to get over these heartbreaks, every person i have put on a pedestal seems to jump off of it. You were the only one that i kept catching and putting you back, and it feels like you want to be there but in the same you dont. Okay but each time you jump it hurts me. I put you inside my heart so why are you cutting me from the inside. You are the smartest person I know yet you keep doing stupid things that hurts the both of us. I know you are dealing with your demons and i am afraid they are slowly taking over you, i can see you drowning and i am trying to keep you in the air. I might be drowning. Maybe one of us must taste the water in their lungs to keep us both alive. I love how it feels like we are the only ones in the world. I hate how it feels like we are the only ones in the world.
