Dissociative Trance Disorder
Hello,
I would like to ask if anyone wants to share anything about dissoziative trance disorder and I wonder if it could get confused with other illness often.
I also thought about how I can get rid of my daydreams - the daydream are like nightmares.
Best regards
I would think that DTD is more like you were in dissociation from a trauma so much that you broke a part of reality.
Does that make sense?
With me after (or I guess just before) my assault, I felt so helpless to stop it that I just "wanted to change the channel" of my current environment and since I broke that remote I'm stuck in a dissociation until I can fix that.
DTD I would think is like a TV set with a remote. You switch a channel you don't like to a channel you do. If you get bored of that channel and wanted to switch it again, the button falls off. Until you fix it or get a new one your stuck on that channel.
Hopefully that answers your post.
