Family Issues
I’m not sure what to do so I’m posting here to hopefully get advice or opinions.
I’m 23 and moved 3+ hrs out of state from my mother back in December and got my own place just last month to escape her controlling and threatening behavior. At first when I moved out things seemed better and I felt like I could talk to her more but once I got my own apartment things just swapped up and got worse.
My partner moved in with me to my current place but my mother does not know of me being in a relationship or living with someone. Because of her views and how she is I was uncomfortable letting her know. She recently called me and because I missed her phone call started questioning who I’m living with but I still told her no one. She then said to expect her to show up randomly and that if she sees I’m living with someone she will kick them out and she will stay instead. She also said if I have someone living with me she expects me to help her with her bills and other things despite me already working on paying off $6k+ of debt she put me under that she told me about right before I moved out. I’ve worked to make sure everything like my car and insurance are under my name so she can’t sabotage me that way.
I’m just so paranoid now and scared, I fear for my partner as well and don’t want them in the middle of her craziness. I don’t really know what to do.

"هناك حلان: إما أن تواجه ما يدور في ذهني وتحاول العمل معي حتى نصل إلى حل، أو أن تغير المكان الذي أعيش فيه دون إخبارها بمكان إقامتي أنن انتقلت. عندما تتحدث معها، قلها بهذه الطريقة، فهذا أفضل لأنك لا تريد أن تفهمني.

“There are two solutions: either you face what’s in your mind and try to work with here until we reach a solution, or you change the place you live in without telling her where you live or that you moved. When you talk to her, say it like this, it’s better because you don’t want to understand me.”
@goldenSummer8085 a very sticky situation, moving out was a good choice but I feel like sometimes we have to set boundaries even with our parents. I don't know if this will work for your situation but I would probably include someone in this and express my self her maybe set some ground rules respectfully as I try to understand what all this craziness is coming from. No fighting just trying to make peace with her.
