Trying to once again console my self conscious bf. but he's so blind. He can't take a compliment. It's frustrating. It actually makes me sad.It breaks my heart how little he values himself. Honestly, there's no doubt in my mind that he loves me, I know that he would risk his own life for me because he doesn't value himself at all. I think I'm worth more to him than he'll ever be to himself, it really hurts to know that he just hates himself that much, he just has so much bitterness towards himself for everything he's been through, that he would rather die than live this life. I seriously think whoever made him feel this way needs to get slapped.

Also still homeless and trying to get by. It truly sucks I have to eat in private otherwise the person I'm staying with will force me to share my food. Normally i don't mind sharing but I have very little food or funds to get more. I need it to survive. I'm also low on practical clothing like warm pants, socks and under wear. I kinda can't do laundry. On the plus side I got free lunch ATVs church today. Yesterday my bf and I went to the nearby food Pantry and I can't even go until Monday. And I need to schedule an appointment. I know there are shelters food pantries and churches but I'm still new to my location so I don't know where everything is.

@Sugarnspice7890 I am so sorry to hear this. For your boyfriend, it might help to just be there for him, even if he can't accept compliments. Maybe try showing him love in other ways, like spending quality time together or doing something thoughtful for him. As for your own situation, I can't imagine how hard it must be to deal with homelessness and not having enough to eat or wear. It's great that you're trying to find resources, but I understand it can be overwhelming, especially in a new location. Have you tried reaching out to local shelters or churches for help? They might be able to provide you with food, clothing, and other resources. It could also be worth asking people in your community for directions or advice, as they might know where to find help.
