Loneliness epidemic
I've noticed how many people are lonely now days. When I was a kid it seemed like people used to connect and create more meaningful relationships with eachother. Since smart phones, media, and covid it seems like the real epidemic is how disconnected and divided people are. I feel like if we were all creating meaningful relationships with eachother instead of getting offended, defensive, and invalidating eachother then there would be a lot more happiness, kindness, and compassion going around which I believe would reduce mental issues. Anybody agree?

I think I can understand you have reasons to be concerned.
I agree. I am not a religious person, but I think quotations like this one below might be an universal truth about the times when "there are crowds of people, but it is increasingly difficult to find a human":
"You can be certain that in the last days there will be some very hard times. People will love only themselves and money. They will be proud, stuck-up, rude (...). They will also be ungrateful, godless, heartless, and hateful. Their words will be cruel, and they will have no self-control or pity. These people will hate everything good. They will be sneaky, reckless, and puffed up with pride. Instead of loving God, they will love pleasure."
But I think there are still so many good people around 😊 This site being just an example.
