Monday Blues
Hey All, hope y’all been doing great. I just wanna know, for the ones who are working, I believe we can all agree that feeling of dread on Sunday evenings are gut wrenching.
Would like to know on the tips or coping methods that you used to overcome the impending Monday Blues. Do shade your thoughts. We could learn from one another. Thanks!
@passionatePlum1452 Hello! It's great to see you reaching out and trying to find ways to cope with those Sunday evening blues. It's a common feeling, but there are certainly ways to make the transition to Monday a bit smoother. Some find it helpful to plan something enjoyable for Sunday evening, like a favorite meal or an activity, to have something to look forward to. Additionally, organizing and setting goals for the week ahead can reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed on Monday.
Sharing your thoughts and learning from others is a fantastic way to support one another. Thanks for starting this discussion! 😊
Hey there 😊. Hope you’ve been good. My apologies for replying late. Have had a hectic week all around :(( so sorry.
First of all, thanks for the reply. I really appreciate the tip you gave. It is indeed right, what you’re saying. And I can relate to that. May I know are these the things that you would normally do to keep yourself off the Monday Blues?
As for me, the dread would come on Sunday evenings. I’d just go for a nice run at the park, or hang out with friends at a cafe, near the beach where we can watch the sunset. Really helps tho. Like this evening earlier, i went on my own to watch the sunset. Really relaxing and helps me to prepare.
And you’re welcome. Thank you once again for replying and giving out your thoughts. Could use a little more tip haha. So tell me how are you planning to beat off the Monday Blues today?
My thoughts on this is to idenify if possible the why behind the feeling. And too see how you are on the other days of the week.
