Relationship advice

I like this boy very much, when i confessed my feelings he gladly accepted me and he also said that he liked me as well even before my confession...we had good time for just 1week and things getting changed afterwards...he started saying that things are going fast and he is afraid of this new relationship...he is unstable in his emotions and he needs some time from this relationship and asked me if you could wait for me you can, or else you can move on, it's totally your wish, but i will come for you one day after some years, you can decide that time....i don't know why this change happened 

Yet we are still talking like some random people who doesn't know about each other...

I am confused what i should be doing in this case...
