What do I do ?

I am 19 years old, and I am the eldest daughter in my family. I have a younger brother, and we have never had a good relationship since childhood. The reason is my parents—they have always considered my brother to be right, especially my mother. No one understands what I am trying to say or express.

My parents have given me a lot of emotional trauma since childhood, and something happens in my house almost every day. Because of this, I am mentally disturbed. I am tired of trying to talk to my parents, explain things to them, make them understand their mistakes, and share my point of view.

Every day, I feel suffocated in my own home. Sometimes I feel like running away and leaving everything behind. At times, the situation at home affects me so deeply that I start doubting myself, and my past trauma hits me again.

I don’t understand what I should do anymore. I feel very hopeless, and the same daily issues at home are seriously affecting my mental health. I am not able to do anything for myself.

😔

I'm sorry your home life is like this.

You don't deserve it.

And you should be receiving support and kindness.

I would start trying to find realistic ways of being able to leave, you deserve to live in s healthy environment 🩷
