Husband (36M) keeps looking at sexy stuff

Cmv: help me stop. Getting overly affected by my husband’s virtual followage (sexy ladies/gamers over twitch and everywhere else online). The jealousy is making me nuts.

My (34F) Husband (36M) (together for 4.5 years, married for 2 years) follows a lot of sexy women on twitch, ***, etc. I feel like I am jealous over things I couldn’t control.

Recently found his porn stash.

He communicates through *** sending friendly *** to friends.

Recently (6mons ago) found out he reached out to his ex on ***(although no response from the girl- unless she responded somewhere else through a different phlatform).

Seems like i know my husband’s whereabouts 24/7. We have a newborn. Don’t think he physically has any external affairs.

I know I have been snooping around his stuff, but, whatever I have seen, I just cannot get over.

I feel like the trust has been broken.

Especially when he attempted to communicate with the ex.

We have talked about this issue and reconciled, but I just keep finding new stuff (like followed another sexy woman twitch) and although there is change from him (ie frequency and number of followage)I find he keeps coming back to it.

PS: he also started on testostorone therapy stating he wanted to improve his body dysmorphia. So he is gaining a lotta muscle and looking a lot more in the mirror. :(

Ha. Perhaps it is my hormones. But help me trust him again.

@newwifejersey23 If i was in a committed relationshi0 and i found my partner being emotionally and physically attracted to others, i would probably feel jealous and somewhat betrayed as well. Those seem like normal reactions. oh and you have a newborn so your hormones are all over the place and you're probably not getting enough rest. That would make me feel crazy, too!

I wonder if your husband has any solid friends he can confide in, or a professional to talk to? You could also suggest that he make a listener account here on 7cups, if he'd be open to speaking with a listener.

In the meantime, please be gentle with yourself! And please reach out if you'd like to talk 1-1 about what you are thinking and feeling.

It is a real struggle for couples, especially today with easy online access. My husband developed an addiction to pornography. You are not being overly sensitive. It is a real issue that you have every right to say that you don't want as a part of your relationship with your sweetheart. It can be an opportunity to discuss, heal and grow closer. Blessings.

My husband is very similar he's a gamer so on twitch I'm not really sure who he follows but I know he's followed people on *** etc it can be upsetting especially if these women look amazing but always remember that's for the cameras etc behind close doors they are different and just like us, hopefully him contacting his ex was just purely for a catch up, its good you have spoken to him about it, maybe him being aware of how it upset you will make him realise he needs to pay you abit more attention x

It sounds like he is trying to compensate for some insecurities that he is having. After the contacting of the ex situation, I would have made him delete his account online. I would have made it a condition to earn your trust back. Don’t wait but assert yourself and ask for what you want. You have every right to ask him to stop something that makes you uncomfortable or you feel is disrespecting you in some way.

You should also make him a little jealous by talking with new male friends or watching hot guys on twitch, youtube etc
