Feels like I’m stuck in a revolving door and I cannot get out. The further I try to help myself, I keep getting worse and worse. My wife doesn’t seem to want to understand and when given the opportunity, I’m the problem. I work hard for a living, have four kids, but I’m running out of places to find help.

Hello there! The analogy of being stuck in a revolving door makes a lot of sense. And I can see you are really trying but it must have been hurtful that you are not able to convey how you feel to your wife. At times like these, it can be really difficult to explain it to someone when we describe to them how we feel inside. Just like being stuck in that door, the door is invisible to others. And they might think, oh this person just doesn't want to move forward. But we know what is going on.

I read a quote next to a picture of a window that said, "From the outside looking in, it is hard to understand. From the inside looking out, it is hard to explain." It makes a lot of sense in situations like these.

How are you coping with all this? Any plans or strategies you came up to get unstuck? Please take care and I hope you find the support you are looking for.
