Changing life and career at a later age.

i haven’t but my mother has. she’s now gone back to uni to be a nurse at 45 cause she didn’t have the opportunity to do so when she was younger!

I'm 39 and currently looking to switch my career. I've been working at a daycare for the past 20 years and I haven't been happy there for a while now

@MsDolphin.  Most recently I reset my career life at age 47.  I became an apprentice in a blue collar world and joined a group of "young kids" in their 20s.   It was not an easy place to be, few skills in a trade I knew little about, competing / elbow to elbow with people half my age.   That was ten years ago and I'm thankful for the effort I put into it.

You know, someone told us a story a few days ago about a woman here in Syria...her husband was killed by terrorists and they sent her a video of him being beheaded.  She had some psychological problems from this but instead of giving up she went with her daughter and they both registered for Baccleurae and people were surprised about her because she was 43 at the time.  She had not studied for years or worked.  They told her it was too hard but she insisted...they told her to study the arts it is easier but she insisted on science based study.  She took extra classes and with extra support became the top of the class and then registered in the university...she thought training as a dentist would take too much time as she in her 40s so registered for pharmacy and graduated as one of the best students again.  Apparently she managed to get experience while studying working in a pharmacy so after graduation she somehow got her own pharmacy and began her career straight away...she is, as we are told, now in her early fifties but she managed to turn her life right around after these tradegies and despite being older without much experience
