At the same age and I feel the same. I am trying my best to fill in the void but, sometimes the voids fills me up.

I understand, I am the same age. Going through a divorce right now and am a single parent. I tend not to think about it until my kids either are asleep or they are away with the other parent. As we get older, we are so busy with work and everything else, it gets harder to meet decent people.
That is painful, hang in there
