Heart so broken
I was so in love with this amazing guy I met during a holiday, and I thought what we had was so special. We fell in love. We were in a long-distance relationship, and four months later, he came to visit me. We spent the most amazing three weeks together, and during that time, he told me he loved me for the first time. He also initiated the idea of relocating to my country.
Last month, I visited his hometown, and he introduced me to his parents and grandparents. His family was so happy to meet me because it was the first time he had introduced a girlfriend to them.
Everything went so well during my visit until I checked his phone and discovered that he had been flirting with other women after we met. He had sent a selfie to one girl, saying, “It’s a blessing to meet you, and I hope to meet you again. I’ll be waiting for you.” When I confronted him about it, he said he was just being stupid and wanted to show off to his colleagues that other women liked him.
I also found another message to a different girl that said, “It was nice meeting you. I hope to see you again soon, and I hope I didn’t misbehave last night.” After the confrontation, he started having thoughts about ending things with me, and I later found out he told his best friend that he was “kind of done” with me.
I was heartbroken and not in the best state of mind, so I initiated the breakup. He still kept in touch with me and was being very sweet, so I initiated to reconcile. But two weeks later, he was already with a new girl.
I can’t make sense of what happened. Can someone tell me what’s going on and why?
@happyfish1314 I'm sorry this happened to you. It sounds like you simply fell for the wrong person. Some people act certain ways and say certain things because they like to be liked, but nothing more. I feel very bad that it happened, but you should avoid letting it continue.
Girl I am so sorry for your experience but you know this guy did not deserve such a beautiful heart like you
Its definitely heart breaking because you took this relationship seriously (and it was the right thing to do )but he didn't which was his loss
i know things can be really hard sometimes like we never did anything wrong but those stuff just came to us
But at least we had more experiences with relationship and learned something new isn't it. I believe from a long term perspective this would be worthy (I mean the experience not the man )
Last time I broke up I felt like my world had collapsed and I would never be happy again but several months later I recovered! I tried to stick with my hobbies and it felt so great having me times to do whatever I like!!!!
I hope you can recover from it soon❤️stay strong you're the best!!!! You deserve much better than that!!!
@happyfish1314 You met & fell for one of those guys who has no loyalty & follows his d**k. That is what happened.
Unfortunately there are far too many people like that in this world, mostly (but not exclusively) men. As a man I do understand the urge to find something fresh & new, but to behave that way is what animals do...we humans are supposed to be better than that. Some of us never are.
I'm sorry girl, but he doesn't deserve you. Personally, I would never do long distance because I know they will be seeing other people regardless if they admit it or not. I do have trust issues, but he is definitely not appreciating you or being considerate of your feelings. I would say leave him for good, look for someone who treats you better and not just to lure you to the bedroom. Good luck ❤️
@happyfish1314 can t help ya couldn t even cry at my great gramps funeral. Can't feel empathy hope u better tho get over him and don t get too involved

My heart goes out to you. That sounds like an incredibly painful and confusing experience.
Firstly, please know that I'm here to listen and support you, not to judge. It takes a lot of courage to share such a personal and vulnerable story.
It's clear that you invested your heart and emotions deeply in this relationship, and his actions hurt you profoundly. I can sense your confusion, sadness, and frustration.
From what you've shared, it seems like he might have been struggling with commitment or fidelity issues. His behavior, such as flirting with other women and making plans to meet them, suggests that he might not have been as invested in your relationship as you were.
It's also possible that he was using your relationship as a way to boost his ego or validate himself, especially since he introduced you to his family and seemed enthusiastic about relocating.
However, his actions after the confrontation, such as having doubts about the relationship and eventually breaking up with you, suggest that he might not have been willing to work through the issues or take responsibility for his actions.
The fact that he quickly moved on to someone else is a painful reminder that he might not have valued your relationship as much as you did.
Remember that his behavior is not a reflection of your worth or value as a person. You deserve to be treated with respect, honesty, and kindness in a relationship.H
ow are you feeling now? Is there anything specific that's still bothering you or anything you'd like to talk more about?
He may have been flirting at first not being sure you guys would work out my ex did the same her jelousy drove me nuts and I told her it was just playing and it was. He may have been telling the truth. We would have to know more details. Anyways I told the truth that I was being silly but her jelousy and pulling away made me doubt her so I started allowing myself to speak yo one other woman. In the end it was her she could accept what I said. Id be happy to know how you dealt with it therw is just not enough info. Maybe I can understand.
Im assuming as in my other post that you were too jealous and wouldnt listen to what he said but I dont know the whole story and im just being honest because you may need an answer. However if he didnt fight for you forget it. I have experience with this and from what you say your doubt and uncertainty left him to seek other options. Long distance relations are hard to navigate. If he doubts you and if it was early in the relationship he has a right to have options. You went through his phone and my ex did the same and her jelousy was impossible. Id need to know more and I can tell you exactly what the deal is. I have alot of experience with this stuff.
And also… the reason I responded to your post is because my last situation so similar that I had to look twice to make sure you were not the other person I was with. Kind of shocking I ran across this. All the same. I loved her too but I just couldnt deal with her jelousy. And having a long distance thing for a bit is very very hard to navigate. She found stuff I said to other women too but none of it was intentionally misleading or wrong for me. It truly was just me allowing for options and having previous engagements before her however none of it was anything she needed to worry about. But she did to the extreme. I think though if he didnt fight hard enough to change your mind let it go.
