It sounds like you’ve been really let down or hurt lately, to the point where trusting others feels unsafe.
That’s a heavy place to be in wanting connection but also needing to protect yourself. What do you think has made it hard to trust people recently?

Trust your instincts. Trust is something that people must earn. Until they earn your trust, don't trust them.
