Social Goals

I moved a few months ago and I've been checking out different meetup groups. I joined the Child-free Women's Society and they seem like a nice group of ladies. I'm leaning more into my demisexuality and realized that this group works for me because of the fact that I am demisexual. I'm not straight enough to be spending time with straight men. Friendship is really more important to me, and it's a priority if I enter into a romantic situation. I'd rather do fun activities with people. So far I have gone to a shooting range with these ladies, and today we are going for bingo at a disco club. So fun! I've also joined the Ladies Leaning Left group. I haven't attended this group yet, but this describes me very well. They seem to do a lot of coffee outings and get together for crafts. As far as seeking a partner I have signed up for an Ace dating site. There may be other similar sites out there. Ignoring that I am demi has caused some unnecessary problems in my life, but it's not like I've understood this entire time. I thought that everyone was demisexual and it was the norm. 2026 will be a much more positive year if I keep my demisexuality in mind.
