Annoyed

I had a rough day and just wanted a snack, husband said no, snacks are for fat girls. I'm so annoyed with him always commenting on my food and telling me how to eat.

Instead of being annoyed and reacting, see that this is his own issue and belief that he is projecting on you.

You can choose to say to yourself or to him: This is not my believe and choice. My choice is to eat whatever I want so by respecting his beliefs I choose to let it go instead of arguing about it.

I can always have my snack at another time and opportunity or when he is not looking. 😂

@miaowmiaowz Oh wonderful, your husband lives in the, “my wife is my property and I gotta keep her looking shiny and new,” group of a$$h0Le men. Darn right you’re annoyed, and you have every right to be! Why on earth does your husband get to dictate what you do or do not do? Next time he wants to go play golf or shoot animals or what ever stupid thing floats his boat, you tell him, oh no, you finish the honeydo list I have made for you first. See how well that goes over. Marriage is a PARTNERSHIP not SLAVERY! Ok, now that I’m done ranting, I’m sorry you’re in this situation. There are probably really constructive ways to deal with this. Hello!
First and foremost, that is quite rude of him, and I am sorry you have to deal with those comments on top of having a bad day!!

I would agree with HelpWisely and maybe look into it why he would be bothered so much by it - once you both are calm are ready to talk. He might be projecting something towards you.
Maybe talking about it will also help you set a boundary about your eating habits and snacks. It is your right to eat snacks on a bad (or any) day!! :)

Just because we are adults doesn't mean that sometimes we don't need comfort food, snuggles, pats, stuffed animals etc.

Hopefully today is better for you but if not, we are here to listen!
