I just blocked my ex bf and I feel my entire feeling triggered of feeling of abandonement and start to not to taking care of myself that led to anxiety and procrastinate for things that good for me.

I feel that I'm sabotaging myself to feel bad daily. I need help to get out of this cave :(

Hey there! I'm not a profesional and actually I'm new in this platform. But I can truly indentify with that feeling.

I'm in my fourth year of college and I've never taken a break from studying since school. I've always have been the typical good student and I rely on that as a part of who I am (wich now I realize how self harmful it is).

I mention this because this year in particular I have felt so exhausted and overwelmed about everything and, as you described, that has led to anxiety because I'm not getting things done. And this feeling goes on and on every now and then.

Good knews, I have found some kind of way of calming this feeling, wich is doing another activities that make me feel productive in some kind of way, like cooking, doing exercise, meditation or cleaning. Now, I don't think productivness should be an everyday goal, but since that's what my brain apparently thinks, this practices have helped me a lot.

I hope this might help you, or at least make you feel like you're not alone because you're not. This feelings suck but are completly natural and we can get over them.
