Falling apart
Hi, I'm a new member and first time poster and about to feel like I'm an over-sharer. I'm 41, mom of 2 young girls 5yrs and 11 months. Since early 2020 I've quit a 7 yr job, changed jobs, had a baby in a pandemic at 40, suffered obstetric violence that I have never worker through, moved within a country, helped a partner fight addiction while subcumming to my own alcohol issus. Then I lost my dad, where family is way more complicated than just that. Then I lost a brother in law to covid, then a long distant friend to a heart attack. I feel like 1 thing piles on the other and I can't catch upon properly processing anything
I'm sorry you're going through a really difficult time. I hope you can overcome and keep your head above water. Please try to stay strong for your children. I hope things look better for you in the future.
@XtinaVLen,
oh my I’m so sorry you are going through all that. It seems like reading your post I identify myself with it. Because it’s so familiar to what I’m going through now, and believe me it’s hard and sometimes you feel like you want to scream. I’m also 41 and mother of 4 but mine are teenagers thank God, but even if they are independent and don’t need me anymore, it feels like everything they do our get themselves into it still hurts me. So from another mom’s point of view I know how it is, especially with you. Since you have children and they are so young no wonder you can feel like you have a lot in your plate. I hope that you have someone that helps you with your babies and at least give you some time to breath. you are experiencing losses and helping other people that makes you a good person with a big heart ❤️
the same thing is happening to me I also lost my best friend last year, and ever since I been having bad things happen one on top of the other and it never ends 😩have you consider maybe taking some time for yourself go out for a walk or just have some you time. Sometimes we need that to, if we are going through a lot of things. I’m in counseling right now but even though I’m I feel like it’s not doing anything to me. Who knows everyone is different if you need someone to vent to or hear you out i’m here for you. Remember you are not alone, and again welcome to 7 cups.
