Do you all get the feeling that you are just stuck?

Almost like Groundhog Day for you? The same thing over and over again with little change?

What are some of the things you have found to keep things interesting?

Yep, although I have been calling it Groundhog Week because by the time Friday rolls around, it feels like "I just *did* Friday and here we are again." Then it's another weekend by myself, both due to the death of my partner 3+ years ago which caused my address book/contact list to be pretty much wiped out, and due to this frickin pandemic, where everyone stays home ot hangs with their own nearest and dearest.

As for keeping things interesting, there's no such thing in my world since Covid began.

@InquireWithin

i understand what you are saying. The covid isolation is a real thing that people have to deal with.

The groundhog week is a interesting concept. I have been looking at the same thing for each day and hadn't thought about zooming out to see if there is a different perspective I hadn't been seeing.

I want to say that I am sorry for the loss of your partner. I know when I get in a relationship, the lives of both of us get melted together. When (if?) that relationship ends, for whatever reason, we have people take sides. I have to remember that I need to be able to keep my space as well. Thank you for that reminder.

Have you come up with any hobbies or interesting things you have done either since the end of your relationship or since lockdown?

My relationship didn't "end." It was cut off and the wound is still fresh.

@wonderfulEmbrace2301 yes I get the stuck feeling a lot. Also, the feeling that I'm getting older and don't feel 'old'. Like am I supposed to act mature now? The way I break out of my stuck feeling is by trying something new. New exercise, plates, yoga, spin. Or learning something new online sometimes. It keeps my brain working and stops that horrible feeling of floating around and getting nowhere x

I had joined an online course and signed up to attend a cartoon course which briefly excited me but later realized it was part of my hypomanic spending spree which resulted in great financial loss. Now I am back to the groundhog grind and trying to stay put.
