Help me find a new home
Hi, I'm 41 and starting over in life. I'm thinking in the next year or two I would like to move to another location the in US. I would like to move to an area that has plenty of local restaurants, breweries/pubs, and outdoor activities. I prefer warm/hot weather vs cold. I'm thinking 30 minutes from a city-just enough distance where I can enjoy it but far enough away to where I can really enjoy the slower country part. I want to be able to see the stars. I'm an introvert and it's very hard for me to make friends but I am trying to challenge my comfort zone. With that being said, I don't want to move to an area that is "boring." What are your suggestions? What area do you most enjoy? Did you move there?
May I recommend anywhere in Colorado. I have lived here 45 years and I love it. I live in a small town and I love it.
Thank you for responding :) Colorado has crossed my mind, just not sure if I want to deal with a lot of snow. Is that possible in parts of the state? I currently live in South Carolina. Trying to get some ideas, that way I can save some money and visit areas so I can make decisions. Again, thank you so much for the feedback
Where I live we get snow but not that often. I live on the western slope.
Florida or Georgia weather is good and you will find many pubs in cities and you can have bit country life if you are a bit away.
It is very difficult to rebuild yourself so that you can freely leave and start living anew. I myself have a dream of a big beautiful house. I cannot afford this yet and do not want to start a mortgage in this state. I started investing in real estate in eastern Europe. There is a good offer there, you can take a look at this link for yourself. The price policy of construction there is much lower, which cannot but please me)
Ironic...I was contemplating moving to SC. It's one option anyway. I need a start over too. And yes, introvert wanting to make new friends. It is definitely not easy.
