I am sorry your parents have been so tough on you. Being average does not make you dumb at all. Rather it seems like your parents were too demanding and their love was not unconditional. It must have been tough. This is one more reason, why you need to learn self-compassion.

I'm sorry your parents have Said such harsh things to you, you should know that it's not right. It's great that you've reached out for support here.

Not everyone responds well to education, and that's just fine, it isn't a bad thing either, yeah it's good to have an education but I didn't do great in school at all, and as I matured and found my interests, hobbies and what I'm good at, I unknowingly started to self educate through experience and have created a great life out if it too.

You're not dumb, there's no such thing as dumb, we're all different. It's about finding our own way in life, learning about ourselves and what we want to make of it.

Please don't believe these hurtful words, you deserve better! Toxic people will find a way to bring others down. Remember this "Those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter"

Find your passion and you can't go wrong.
