I would agree with you!
It feels like a matrix. And i guess the happiness we try to find and run behind the whole life is with us, we just fail to see it because of such situations and struggles.
Its just the negative things and greeds, which are basic human nature, that bind us to this unrealistic world.
Going towards your real interests, bonding with nature might help with it.
