I have no self-acceptance
I have no control to do what I want, I don't even know if what I want is right or not.
No power to do anything.
Maybe it's time to start with the basics and work from there. Can you control your breathing? (I hope the answer is yes.) Good! Exercise that. Don't just assume, "Well, duh. Yeah I can do that." Prove it to yourself. This is key. Meditate for 10 minutes and just focus on slow and steady breathing. You'd be surprised how long 10 minutes feels when you're just focusing on breathing. After you prove that to yourself, then move on to controlling your body. Then you can move on to more complex concepts outside of yourself.
Can you choose what your hobbies are? How you pass the time? Can you choose where you want to go on a certain day? What you want to eat? Can you choose your field of study/occupation? Prove each of these concepts to yourself, until you hit an obstacle.
Once you run into an obstacle, ask yourself if there's something you could do about overcoming it. Think about it like a road bump or a turn in the road. For instance, "Yeah I could change my eating habits, but then I would have to make a lifestyle change." That's a turn in the road. "Yeah I could go to this event, but my social anxiety is holding me back." That's a bump in the road.
Life (for most people) is not a road that is smooth, straight, and to the point you want to be at. We all need to stop at some juncture and need to assess if we're going in the right direction. We need to assess if our tires can handle the pot-holes and speed-bumps. However continuing to go down paths that are the easiest for us will lead no where.
Aim for a destination you want to arrive at and believe in yourself that you can get there. You can believe in yourself, because you've proven that you can overcome the previous obstacles. And yes, sometimes you'll find that the destination is not where you actually wanted to be. But that's where the old saying goes, "It's not about the destination; it's the journey."
Best wishes, Cain
