I’m miserable

Hello all. I’m 42F and I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression for many years. The last few months I have really struggled. Idk what exactly triggered it but it’s the worst it’s ever been. I’m just lost. There’s so many thing I want and need to do and just don’t have them energy. My house is a wreck. My health is a wreck too. I was diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol this summer. I need to exercise to get healthy. Again I just have no energy. I see a Dr and a therapist and I’ve made some headway but it’s just slow. Any thoughts on what else I can do?

Do you have a fitness tracker? I've been motivated by competing against myself to see if I can do more steps each day. I've also done Dietbet (if it's still around) which also keep me going. Just walking outside for ten minutes lifts my mood. I try to stay in the habit of standing while texting. I feel like it's more active and it's a simple change to make. I found it VERY hard when I first started trying to be more active. I can't commit to an hour-long aerobics sesh, but I manage to stick with these small changes.

I have one. It seemed like it used to help. I’m just on the struggle bus. I feel lazy. I did join weight watchers a few weeks ago. Did good for a few weeks and then I kinda pooped out on it too. I guess I just need encouragement. That’s why I’ve reached out here.
