I need marriage advice
Hi there! So I am here because I don’t know what to do right now. I feel like my marriage is at a vault and I really don’t know how to move past this. So we’ve been married 12 years 2 kids. My issue is that he lies to me about smoking pot. It isn’t at an addictive level not everyday kind of thing but my issue lies with we’ve been down this road before. It has caused us financial issues we are in a much better place monetarily right now so I don’t see that happening again but always a fear and he just won’t be honest! He tells me it should be fine because there are worse things. I have left once before because of this but came back to work it out and it’s a roller coaster things go well for a while then it’s the same thing all over again. Due to the pandemic I am currently unemployed and cannot find childcare that o can afford even if I return to work. Where I live cost of living is very high I would never be able to stay in the same state as my husband on my income alone even with his assistance. My family is on the other side of the country. Overall he is a good dad I don’t want to take the kids from him but i don’t know I want to be with him any longer. I also don’t know if I can support both kids on my own anywhere without working more then seeing them so I really feel stuck

Hi there!
You say that you need marriage advice, but don't know what to do?
Honey... I think deep down you know, you know what to do. It can feel scary , and maybe you need to take one step at the time, that's OK!
I've been there too. If I where you I'd contact a person that deals with family/ marriage issues. (just like you stated) Then from there you can get help on how to move forward in the situation
Since you are not happy in the marriage, you need to think about yourself honey. It allways pays up in the end!! and your kids will be able to live with you or the father
Hope it works out well for you, XX
What I'm hearing here when I read between the lines is that you seem not to be able to trust him. And the biggest problem is he's not respecting you when you bring this up. Unfortunately,if he hasn't learned that marriage is give and take after twelve years, he probably won't . You can't be the only one doing the emotional heavy lifting. And if you are not happy, you or the children don't need to have been treated badly to want to leave. If you can't do it right away, start making a plan now. Even if it's small steps. And good luck.
Well...........In my case I am alone and lookinfg for someone to come in my life......what you guys think of I am 40 male.....do you think i should go for having new life partner in this age or i should live my life as it is ??
Love your life to your best, happiest, and fullest, and love yourself first. You may find you’re content / happy to be alone, but sometimes that kind of open honesty will bring someone to you bc they will be attracted to your genuine light. :)
I think this is about much more than Pot. The lying and him using I was going to suggest marriage counseling - but then I kept reading and you’ve said it ‘I don’t want to be with him any longer.’ So, if you truly feel that way and you don’t want to try to hash it out with a professional then what do you feel you need to do to take baby steps toward your goal? You got this.
